President & CEO · REP Outdoor Group
I lead teams that take big ideas from sketchpad to shelf — in the outdoor, sporting goods, and emerging lifestyle markets. This is where I share what I'm learning along the way.

About
My career has never followed a straight line — and I wouldn't have it any other way. I started with a deep curiosity about how products are made, what makes people choose one brand over another, and how you build a company that stands for something beyond its balance sheet.
Today I run REP Outdoor Group, a multi-brand platform behind Rivers Edge Products, Osage River Gear, and TKG Sports. But my real work is simpler to describe: I try to see around corners — to spot where markets are heading before the crowd does, build the right team, and stay disciplined enough to execute.
When I'm not thinking about go-to-market strategy or new product concepts, I'm probably reading about a category no one has disrupted yet. (Right now, that's the hobby and pet markets.)
I've watched too many strong concepts fail in execution. The leaders who win combine genuine creative ambition with an obsession for feedback loops and clear metrics.
Our strongest launches at REP Outdoor haven't been line extensions — they've been answers to unspoken frustrations. That requires listening to people in the field, not just reading sales data.
Moving into new categories feels risky. But disciplined, deliberate expansion — when grounded in your core strengths — is exactly how brands stay relevant through economic cycles.
What I'm Building
REP Outdoor Group is built on the belief that the outdoor and sporting goods markets reward bold product thinking, fast iteration, and strategic partnerships with brands that already have consumer trust. Here's how we're executing on that.
Our flagship outdoor brand. We're focused on expanding the product line beyond its heritage categories — finding adjacent needs that our core customer already has but isn't being served well.
High-value gear for serious outdoor enthusiasts. The opportunity here is in bridging premium performance and accessible pricing — a gap that most brands haven't figured out yet.
Where sporting goods meets lifestyle. We're building a brand with the credibility of the outdoors and the cultural relevance of everyday active life.
